The new 2023 Valuation List comes into effect on 1 April, so there are just over two months remaining on the current 2020 list. If you are intending to challenge the rateable value of your property in the current list, the application must be lodged with Land and Property Services (LPS) no later than 31 March 2023.
The draft valuation list for Reval 2023 has been published and ratepayers now have the opportunity to review their proposed NAV and make contact with LPS if you feel this is inaccurate. It is important to remember that the draft list was a desk based exercise focused exclusively on rents, and is therefore unchecked or challenged by anyone outside of LPS at this stage.
